Soundsnob allows users to share their love for music with the rest of the world. We are attempting to create a community where poeple can come and get opinions on albums from like-minded users, while also allowing anyone to write a review and attempt to achieve the highest rated review for an album. What makes Soundsnob different is you are the reviewer. Often times reviews are written by people that don't share a common musical taste with you, and thus can turn you off to an album before you give it a chance. We allow multiple reviews of the same album, so if you find a user who's taste agrees with yours, you can easily find other good music to investigate.

Soundsnob allows users to submit reviews for their favorite albums, as well as have their reviews rated and commented on by other users. We hope that this will prove to be a friendly competitive community to not only allow people to review their favorite cds, but also see how others do, and allow everyone to become better critics.

At some point, reviewers that have the highest number of top rated reviews may be asked to help moderate the site, or be granted more privileges. We hope that music newcomer and soundsnob alike will partake in making this one of the largest, collaborative review sites ever.

Please note, we'll let you say what you like about cds, but if any review or comment should threaten or show prejudice to another user, it and the user posting it will be removed.
